Lacuna series

Found objects, white cement

Size variable

Ongoing since 2023

The Lacuna series, through its fusion of fragmented cultural relics or historical objects with white cement, presents the elusiveness of the past. What appears at first glance to be a restoration, an attempt to mend the broken pieces. Instead, by employing white cement, the artist draws attention to the missing parts, inviting the viewer to actively reinterpret the lacunas. Viewers are no longer passive observers but become participants in the reconstruction of the past.
